i have a problem! I used my code for the freebie pix and used some pix on a couple alyouts today. and oh NO!!! i liked it! i mean, i really really liked it! it's been AGES since i've used actual photos to scrap. i usually just print at home and call it a day, but now?? geez! i think i'm gonna hafta start printing to CVS or Walgreens or something! dangit! i always just printed at home cuz i never really know what size of pic i want until i'm just about ready to scrap them. also, i may end up turning them b/w or sepia....ugh!

Sometimes having the actual photos in your hands really inspires you to scrap! I have a lot of photos that I have on hubby's computer that I just print at random. But every now and then, I do a BIG photo order to catch up on printing, and it's always inspiring to get all those photos in the mail!

Exactly. It's hard because I like to print smaller sizes and some in b&w, etc., but I never know which ones until I'm actually scrapping. But...when you get a good deal like the Snapfish deal the other day, you just can't pass it up! ;)

So do you normally print just on regular paper?

not exaclty. i generally print on my printer using "everyday photo paper" by Kodak or HP. It's made to print pix but it's not quite the glossy/matte photo paper. for some reason those papers don't work very well on my printer (even though that's what it's for....). The colors and junk are all off. so, i just use that everyday paper and the pix come out great!

I use Kodak photo paper that is already cut down to 4x6. Works perfectly with my printer! :) If I need a 5x7, then I cut down some 8x10 photo paper. I also have a program on my computer that will let me select 2 smaller photos, and it prints them on 1 4x6 sheet.

Exactly what I do, though I agree, printed from CVS, or a photo place always seems to have a better quality.

I love walgreens... for my printing..

I do own a little photo printer for items I want to change size or color..

But I really like seeing a stack of photos in my hands..

happy scrapping!!

I love having a stack of pictures, though there are times when I find I needa different size. Then I either print it myself or use the one hour online option at my local Walgreens, hehe, nothing like lazy huh?

I've always been a shutterfly/artscow printer - but currently I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed by photos I think I need to put on the brakes for awhile. **sigh**

I use Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper for my 4x6, Epson Glossy photo Paper 8x10 1/2 size and Office Depot Professional photo paper semi-gloss. Also, I use an HP program that allows me to set what size I want and do multi sizes too. For my 4x6 I can do borderless too.
