and it's free!!!

Miss me?? :giggle

I am excited after hearing the new things that Provo Craft has coming up in the next few months. First, yes another machine! Like we need another one. The Cricut Expression 2 is a cross between the Expression and the Imagine. It will have a LCD screen so no overlays will be needed. It will cut from both types of cartridges, both regular and Imagine. Wifi capable so no more long cords to and from your computer for updates. This machine will not print. So don't get it confused with the Imagine.

Second thing to get excited about, and my favorite: Cricut Craft Room. This will be an online tool similar to the Design Studio and Gypsy programs. The best part: It is completely FREE! OMG, PC releasing a FREE product??? No way!

So if you have been contemplating the idea of getting a machine, or upgrading to the Expression, now is the time to do so. I am not sure about the price yet, and I think they will be available around Mother's Day. And now you no longer have to be afraid of the Design Software! I look forward to using this and I am sure I will have tutorials when it does come out!

So what do you think of the new additions to the Cricut Brand?

This weekend we all talked about the 'new' machine (at the SWARM) and personally, I think it sucks. Provo Craft is not being very customer friendly and people will start to get disguested with them. I know I would be pretty upset if I just spent 500.00 for a machine only to find out less then 6 months later a new one has come out. Not quit sure how Cricut Craft Room is going to work, but we are all surprised to think Provo would give anything away free. I'm curious to see wht they are talking about. I love my Make The Cut and for just the scanning part alone it's well worth the money. I do use my DS 95% of the time of me using my Cricut and find it easy to use.

I'm not a Cricut user, but these sound fun :) That's cool about the freebie.

I agree with you Roe! Why should I buy a new PC machine when they just come out with a new one every 6 months. I will wait and see what happens.

I love my E and my DS. And am happy with that!

I wasn't saying anyone that has a machine should run out and buy this new one. I do believe that the E2 is going to be a good machine, and if you are a new Cricut user than this would be a good machine.

And if you think about it, Cricut has been around for 5 years and in that many years there have been 5 machines released. Personal, Create, Expression, Imagine, and now the E2....oh yeah and the Cake. I see no reason that they can't release the new machines as long as the customers with the older machines get everything they are promised. I for one would LOVE PC to get their act together and give us Imagine owners what we were promised when we purchased.

I did jump on the bandwagon and get the Gypsy while it was so cheap. Do I feel jipped? Nope. I believe that it will be an asset to use with the new online system. And since the online system will be Imagine friendly I am jumping for joy. I am still on the cuff about MTC, as I would love to use SVG's. But at the same time I am happy with what I have.
