 Post subject: Fried Apple Pie

30 minutes to make
Serves 6Recipe (serving size is how big you make each individual pie)

Ingredients
1 large can butter flavored biscuits(10 pack)
shopping list
4 or 5 apples(granny smith work great) shopping list
1 stick butter shopping list
1/2 cup white granulated sugar shopping list
1/2 cup light brown sugar shopping list
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
1 - 20oz Mellow Yellow or Mountain Dew shopping list

How to make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Open biscuits and separate.
Roll each biscuit as thin as pie crust on a floured surface
Slice apples very thin and fill one side of biscuit., fold over and crimp edges with wet fork
Put these half moon shaped pied in buttered pyrex dish
In saucepan on top of stove, put butter and the white & brown sugars
Add the mellow-yellow or mountain dew
Bring these ingredients to a boil and pour over pies
Put in oven and bake until brown and sauce is creamy and thick

We make this using crescent rolls...great quick alternative to apple pie.
