:cry :cry Oh Rita!!! Thank you so much. It was such a roller coaster of emotions yesterday. I want him to go off to college and excel, and love it, and meet friends and experience....and I want him to just stay right here in his room reading books and playing video games too! And HE is so conflicted too I think. He's not a talker, so it's like dragging information out of a brick wall. I swear if he'd said "I don't know or I guess" to me one more time yesterday I'd be bald today. Then on top of it, for it to be what would have been Jim's birthday (his dad)....by evening I was just a jumble of raw emotions.

Thanks so much again Rita, I felt your hugs and prayers for peace. I'm feeling better this morning!

I'm sure he is conflicted right now. I remember Dwayne being the same way. This is such a hard age for them, they want to grow in their independence but they also want the safety and comfort of home. I remember thinking the same with Dwayne, felt like I was trying to get information out of a brick wall. Just remember that Darren will talk when he's ready, (Dwayne did) and you will be there to listen, encourage and reassure him that he is growing into the fine young man that you, Bill and Jim have raised him to be. I included Jim because I am sure that over the years you gave alot of thought about how if JIm were here how would he have handled situations too.
I love you darlin and I'm always here for you. Love and smooches!
