not getting "new" posts

i'm so confused! what's new right?
i generally click on "active posts" to get new posts (seems i get more that way)
well, i realized the other day i didn't get a new post under the subforum in by the way forum
so, i decided to click on "new posts" thinking they would show up
they didn't!
and again today!
plus, if i remember the subforum discussing the june trip didn't show up then either. i missed several comments in that one.

so, it seems NONE of the SUBFORUMS are comming up on "sctive posts" or "new posts"
does anyone know why? is this happening to anyone else?

sigh. No idea why it wouldn't work...unless it was new the last time you logged in and you didn't catch it then...
