Spray adhesive would probably work too....just make sure it's the acid-free kind. ;)

I have a xyron machine. The Mini X and a larger one. I'll give that a try.

I don't have spray adhesive, what I had dried up from not being used and was thrown away. No idea what zip dry is.

I used to use cute things like staples or vellum tape to adhere them.

i got some zip dry a while back when i bought some acrylic albums and archivers said that's was the best thing to use for those albums since they were clear.

but i say try what you got first. i'm sure the xyron machine will work great!

i wouldnt throw it out kari. run the paper through the xyron making sure the part you want to show through is the part that gets the adhesive on it. that should work perfectly!

i would probably run a piece through before cutting the shape. then attach the paper to the heart. then cut around the heart with an exacto knife. make sense?

I used the xyron and it worked beautifully. It was with the Heart in the center of the flower on my lil beauty layout.
