Anyone doing this?
Every year I say that I am but then do not but this year I purchased Ali Edwards overlays, word art and number set in order to hold myself to it. I'm planning on compiling the actual album this weekend or next weekend for sure.
If anyone hasn't heard of this, it's a scrapbook journal of sorts for the month of December leading up to Christmas. Here's a link to Ali's blog http://aliedwards.com/projects/december-daily/
There's also lots of inspiration on pinterest.

I thought about it and actually recently pinned a couple of ideas on Pinterest. I love the way these look, and of course I would have PLENTY of pictures for an album....just need to make myself get started on it, I guess. Hmmm.....

I don't really "get it" :(
Do you just do a layout about each day in December leading up to Christmas...about ...what?

Yeah, it's basically a mini album for December. You're supposed to scrap something about each of the 25 days, whether it be a picture or a story or a ticket stub, etc. Kinda like a memorabilia album. On the days that you don't really do anything, you can journal about your favorite holiday traditions, favorite holiday song, favorite decoration, shopping, etc. I take a TON of pics in December because there is always something going on.....tree being put up, countdown boxes, class parties, work parties, church program, etc. It's just to give a little "peek" into what December is like in your world.

I'm going to use a 3 ring binder but haven't decided if I'm going to buy one or make my own.
I started the foundation of mine tonight and I purchased Ali Edward's Christmas Word Art but I'm having trouble changing the colors...it comes in standard black for printing but you are to be able to change the color in Word but I'm having trouble opening the file...

I have been working on putting mine together for this year! I love just writing down little stories, sayings and memories from Christmas past to be included! I did one last year, and loved it!

Awesome! Can't wait to see it, Stacy!

I want to use a 3-ring binder, but I want a little one, not 12x12.

this sounds cool but looking at her site I'm confused. She is putting things in photo holders just to have them ready for the pages? I guess. Also, where are the printables? I guess I need to do more "looking"

I've not done a standard December Daily, but do have something that fits in the category.

Roo struggles with changes to routine due to his Aspergers. He gets apprehensive if he doesn't know what is happening. So one of the best tools I've found to help him manage change is a visual timetable. I've made him a book styled one this time.

I'm adding the pages slowly as the holiday progresses. You can either view them on my blog or here:
