Have Your Way With Paper

One of the fun things you can do with Design Studio is design your own cuts. If you would like to share that cut with us, please do the following.

Post a photo of the cut file (screen shot works well)

Tell us what cartridge(s) you used for the cut

Post the link for the download or if you do not have a link an email request can be used. When using an email you simply put the file as an attachment which when opened will open in DS. From there, the person requesting the file can put it in their save DS foler.

Yes Erin, please share any sites that you have bookmarked. I am always looking for new files.

Design Studio is what has given me the motivation to buy more carts. Now I look for the potential of use with DS and combining with other cartridges.

So if I want to use the files you posted, I need to have those carts...if it uses multiple carts do you have to have the jukebox thing?

Lisa, you don't need the jukebox. It will tell when to switch out cartridges. It will tell you which cartridge to insert first!

Paula, so you are saying you like to review what you have before you open your DS? that would make sense and actually a good idea. As long as you save it in your DS folder after spending all the time designing your piece..lol..

if i decide to post the pic somewhere, i need to have it saved as a .jpeg file to be able to do that. like on my blog or here or whatever. I have the PIC saved on my computer and i have the downloadable .CUT saved online at 4Shared. so, no matter what, i wonb't lose the improtant file (the .cut). make sense?

Paula even if you unistall the program you should still have access to the .cut files. You just can't open them without the program. That is why I keep the trial version on all my computers. Just so I can access the files. I may not be able to cut them all, but I can get in there and tweek them or post if necessary.
