ok, talking about firefox and IE8, etc....
mine is slowing up! i've only used up half which leaves half the memory still free! i don't see any reason why it should slow down.makes no sense!

i love my computer and wouldn't know what to do without it, but sometimes i could throw it against a wall!

i've got stuff in there that i don't even know what it is so i can't decide if i can delete or not. i don't understand the computer lingo enough....ugh! hate that!

Paula, maybe your internet provider is getting hit (like overload) or something. I keep hearing how too many saved photos will make your computer run slow, not to mention any videos you may have saved.

lol..Paula, deleting is one of the hardest things even though you could have several backups..lol...It's like going on that roller coaster and thinking once it starts to climb, you can't get off and there is only one way and that's down..lol...Hey, it has gotten me through many roller coaster rides...lol

Ok, so the analogy may not be the same, but the end result is the same...You are looking at your photos, your heart is racing as you anticipate hitting that delete button. You think to yourself 'there is only one way for this to get done' and you hit delete. End of ride...and no going to the recycle bin to get on that ride again...lol...

Of course hitting delete in the recycle bin in like falling off a cliff....lol....

the clif analagy - that's about the truth!
i have them on CD, but nathan's pix from yr 1 are on CD too and i can't bring them up..... :-( i know they're there....but, i DO have the scrapbooks, so i don't feel too awful bad about it.
the same with the 6y pix i just put on CD. even i can't ever retrieve them, i still have the scrap pages!!

it's kinda like having the physical pix AND the negatives. if the negatives get destroyed, you still have the pix.

anyway....

If you are going to delete anything just get the ones that didn't turn out "the best" you know like when you take five shots and only one turns out - the other 4 could probably go - just don't delete the ones that are important to you (see my post on your backup forum) if there are important things you want to be sure they are in TWO locations at all times.
