I guess it really should be email scraplift :giggle

It starts out with a layout that someone else had made. The hostess then copies that layout as closely as she can while still keeping the integrity of her style (as should everyone else). That layout then gets emailed or pm'd to the first person on the list. When they are done they send it back to the first person and that person will forward that to the third person and so on.
When everyone is done, all layouts are posted in order along with the original scraplifted layout. It's really neat to see how the layout evolves into something completely different but still has a hint of the original :)

Maybe we can try it here someday!! :D

I have done that before and it was totally fun - just make sure that the people who participate DEFINITELY have scrappy time scheduled or it gets held up forever...

it took us about 6 weeks to complete it - each of us had the layout for about 4-6 days.
It's not something that has to be hurried but there should be a time limit set before starting it.

Oh that's a long time - I did one on the TSR boards that was a race between two teams as well as the telephone - it was a lot of fun but a lot of pressure too :)

i like that idea! i say 3-5 days each person and depending on how many people participate, depends on how long it would take. but i do agree, need to make sure those involved WILL get done in 3-5 days.....

Interesting!
I remember a live version Glenna did once on a weekend crop, where she called off things one at a time, each about a half hour apart, to put on your LO. Like start with 2 photo's one sheet of pattern paper, 2 colors cardstock. Trim & mat the photos, add a circle, add 5 buttons, add some paper tearing somewhere, make a 3 word title, etc. , etc. Not necessarily exactly those things, but one step added at a time. Glenna, do you remember that? Did that have a name?
