Jinger, the Cricut spokesperson for Provocraft, said that you can use cereal boxes as an alternative for chipboard! If you use a Cricut or die cutting machine, the cereal boxes are thin enough but firm enough to cut. Just use the inside unprinted part :D

Yep! this is what I do, you cover them anyway. any box will do, Mac n' cheese, cereal, taco shells, ect.....

Oh I forgot... make sure to set you blade depth to 6 and possibly multi cut at least 2x :)

Frozen pizza boxes work too.
