In going through all the new releases - it looks like Ephemera and Vintage are the trend right now - is anyone here successful at getting that to gel? Are you going to try any of the new lines (i.e. Graphic 45 or 7 gypsies) that incorporate that vintage feel. If so - wanna show me how because I'm SO lost!

Krissy, here is a link I found just to give me some perspective of what I wanted to see. I've used 'the look' on ATC cards, but I think to use it on a layout you would need to be very selective so it's doesn't look too busy. However, the point is to look busy..lol..A few tucks here and there will bring the page together. Of course, you need the right photo.

What I see are old buttons, antique lace/ribbon, browns (or muted colors) and a lot of 'overlaying'. I could be wrong in what I am mentally seeing, but that's what I see...

Are you planning on doing a page??

here is the link http://www.art-e-zine.co.uk/ephemera.html

For my personal style no, but for some client albums I may want to give it a try.

At the last swarm I attended, I bought a sheet of paper someone was selling. It will fit right into this theme. Also, a couple of weeks ago I received some stuff from Cuttlebug Challenge that will be needed for a sponsor challenge..just not sure when and honestly, don't remember who it's from. too lazy right now to get up and look in my CC stash case..lol..

So, it looks like I may be doing something one day....:)
